Marguerite Teeple Barbour Bragg
February 07, 1932 - April 30, 2011
Tybee Island- Marguerite Teeple Barbour Bragg, 79, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Memorial University Medical Center.
Marguerite was a native and lifelong resident of Thunderbolt and Tybee Island. She was a 1949 graduate of Savannah High School and later in life returned to Armstrong State College where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Masters Degree in Accounting. She was a member of the Honor Society, past board member of the Rape Crisis Center and past Worthy Matron of the White Star Chapter # 367, Order of the Eastern Star. She was an accomplished painter and loving mother. Her husband of forty four years, John Bragg, and son, David Bragg preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughter, Catherine Fulp and son-in-law, Larry of Ridgeland, SC; son, John Bragg and daughter-in-law, Wendy of Tybee Island; grandchildren, Doug Sikes, Melissa Salter, John Sikes, Lindsay Bragg, Tyler Bragg, Donovan Bragg, Brian Cail, Matthew Cail, David Bragg, Chris Bragg, Cameron Bragg, and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors with Rev. Dr. David C. Laughner officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

My condolences to Marguerite's family. I was a co-worker at Savannah Electric. I worked with her on several projects, and even went on a 'road trip' with her and some others to study various purchase-to-pay systems. I have a lot of fond memories. It's sad to know she has passed away.
